We enjoyed our stay at this state park. The sites were large, easy to park in. Great views, easy access to many attractions--Sedona, Jerome, Verde Canyon Railroad. Quiet. Good Verizon broadband coverage. Our only complaint concerned the restrooms. The first couple of days they weren't very clean. Also, one day the showers were cold. Some shower heads barely sprayed any water.

The staff was very nice, the restrooms very clean, the laundry was reasonably priced and clean, we had good broadband card reception. Many long-term tenants. Good for a short stay, better than what we found in Vegas. Reasonable price with Good Sam discount.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We came in because of high wind on I-15. We didn't use wifi, but broadband access was very good. Restrooms were very very clean, though old. The rate reflects KOA discount and use of VIP points.

This is great state park! The sites are huge, the restrooms very clean, the staff very friendly. The camp sites are cleaned and neat. Back-in sites may be a better choice on the left side of the road as some of the pull-throughs put you door right on the road. We were in site 36 and loved it.

This park is OK, especially for the price ($14.50 + electric) for Escapees members. We didn't use Wi-Fi, have spotty internet with broadband card, no cell phone coverage (Sprint). The biggest problem was only 30 amp electric and it was HOT--90-95 every day. Town of Wickenburg nearby is interesting. Would be worth coming back to.

Good for an overnight stay. Restrooms look like they are part of a jail but they were very clean. Side-by-side hookups but we had an end site and no one behind us. Staff was friendly and the park was quiet.

Small and old park but very comfortable with good shade and really nice owners. Restrooms are old but very clean. We would stay here again.

The camp sites are good, large, widely spaced. Broadband internet and satellite TV were great here. But we have used pit toilets that were cleaner. Two days into our stay, the restrooms were power washed, but they were so dirty to begin with, that didn't help a lot. They didn't even empty the trash in one after they washed it. The showers were OK after the power wash. There was a lot of litter that had not been picked up. This makes us leery of going to another Utah State Park.

This is an excellent campground with plenty of room for large rigs and for tents. Some sites are full hookup, others lack sewer. Sites in D loop, especially, are large and private. Restrooms and showers are very nice. Laundry room is nice. We will return here often.

Sites are narrow, but have grass at every site. Hookups are well located, everything is updated and very clean. Friendly staff. Expensive but clean and modern laundry. We will stop here again.

Older park, not updated. Sites are narrow. Our had a mud puddle, (we think from an underground water line leak). Owner's or manager's son helped us park, apparently didn't realize the problem. Sewer hookup is so far to rear it was difficult to hook up to water and electric, open bedroom slide without hitting tree and hook up to sewer. No grass. Restrooms marginally clean. Son was helpful with propane tank fill-up.

Most sites are not level; reservable site have tight curves, making use by larger RVs difficult. Most other sites are just a table and fire pit and tire tracks. Except in Tumbleweeds loop, sites are not level. That loop has concrete patios and straight gravel driveways and water hookups. There are no showers available. On the other hand, this state park is pretty and many sites have a view of the lake. I would give the park an 8 for atmosphere, 4 for camp sites.

This was our first visit to Cheyenne Mountain and we think it is an excellent campground. We loved our site--large, private, great views. The campground is quiet and has great trails for hiking and biking. The laundry was clean and reasonably priced. The restrooms were clean, spacious and very nice. We will definitely return.

It has easy access, and the restrooms are clean. The sites are narrow and side-by-side. That means absolutely no privacy. It is OK for overnight stay, not good for anything longer.

We had site W-1, a great site, large, shady. The park was quiet, the staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There was a forest fire blocking access to the park from the west and they called us early the morning we were to arrive to let us know about that. We loved the park and will return again if in the area. Diesel fuel at the nearby resort is outrageous in cost ($5.60/gallon). Fill up before you arrive.

Sites are narrow and some are side-by-side hookups. Staff was friendly. Laundry is large and resonably priced. We were upset that KOA has discontinued the Gold Card 15% discount, but that isn't the local staff's fault.

Restrooms were not very clean and not well-equipped. Sites very narrow. We had stayed here before and this time they ran our site fee before we arrived, using the card # they had on file without telling us.

Beautiful park with great sites and great facilities. We stayed her in April and will camp here again if we are in the area.

We had a good site with shade. The restrooms were OK. The best part was the wildlife--we had rabbits, deer and quail in our site.
